The Lightweight

By accounts, Sarah Palin seems to be an accomplished person. I listened to the announcement and thought "is this the best he could do?". When James Carville was praising Hillary after her speech, he said she was the only speaker that night that had a major league fastball. I hate to admit it but he was right. After listening to Sarah Palin, it's pretty clear she has a high school fastball.

That is not to say she won't help McCain get elected, because she could. I think where she fails is in her readiness to take over in the worst of circumstances. How is she more qualified than Tim Pawlenty? If she is qualified to be President where has she been in being a McCain surrogate? I may have missed her on Meet the Press.
