About 10 years ago, Latrell Sprewell choked his coach PJ Carlissimo. While for several years it seemed that Carlissimo's reputation was hurt more than Sprewell's. 10 years later it seems like the tide has turned. SI has an article discussing the changes in fortune.

pro Football Talk has a feature called Turd Watch. It lists out the NFL's police blotter. It includes an entry that says Michael Vick was charged with tresspassing in Feb 2007. Sounds like the least of his worries. So much for being a first time offender.
